Trainee Research Officer / Research Officer

Your main responsibility is to analyze the credit worthiness of the entities assigned to you. They may include small or medium enterprises, financial institutions, or government related entities of Bangladesh. Your analysis will be based on CRISL’s analytical framework and rating methodologies. The rating process may include interviews with the entities'senior management to understand their business strategy and financial policies. You will be required to meet with the clients, conduct visits of their operating facilities or their financial institutions to obtain first hard information about their business operation. You will present the results of your analysis – the recommended rating, the underlying rationale and key considerations, to the credit rating committee. You will have to be neutral in your judgement, and be prepared to answer questions from members of the committee. The final rating will be decided by the rating committee. You will be assigned to a team and be mentored by a senior analyst who will help you navigate through the rating process. Therefore, you must have the ability to be able to work in a team, be respectful and willing to learn.

 

Who can apply?

• Masters in Finance/Accounting from any reputed university

• ACCA/ CIMA/ ICMA Students preferred.

• Proficient in English, business writing, Ms Word, Excel Team player

• This position is based in Dhaka
